Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its October 2013 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for this art exhibition is “Animals.”

An art competition was held in September 2013 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 13 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 36 different states. Overall, there were 581 entries that were judged for this art competition.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “Open” online art competition for the month of October 2013. The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography), regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational and non-representational art (no theme), for inclusion into the gallery’s November 2013 online Group Art Exhibition.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “Animals” Juried Art Competition for the month of September 2013. The gallery invites all 2D artists (including photography) from around the world to make online submissions for inclusion in to the Gallery’s October 2013 online group art exhibition.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field to send us your best interpretation of the theme “Animals". Animal subjects would include mammals, birds and any animals that live in the water. The deadline to apply to this art competition is September 26, 2013.

An art competition was held in August 2013 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 17 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 31 different states. Overall, there were 564 entries that were judged for this art competition.

Manipulated Image in partnership with Coagula Curatorial presents "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow" videoart curated by Alysse Stepanian, and "Trial & Error" curated by MI's Swedish partners, Eva Olsson and Jonas Nilsson of art:screen - 1 hour of videos by 20 artists from 7 countries. Los Angeles-based artists, Gelare Khoshgozaran and Christy Roberts will also be presenting new performances created for this event. An art competition was held in July 2013 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 26 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 41 different states. Overall, there were 704 entries that were judged for this art competition.

The Lower East Side Printshop, NY offers emerging artists with FREE year-long studio residencies to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The application deadline is September 1, 2013 for residencies that begin on October 1, 2013. Printmaking facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monoprint, waterbased silkscreen, digital processes, and other techniques that employ the tools at hand.

Keyholders work independently in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio and have access to a vibrant community of peers. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended. Basic instruction in printmaking and some Master Printer assistance is included in the program.
