masters program for working artists with summer residencies in Berlin,

Call for Artists & Performers: Outpost for Contemporary Art (LA area)

Outpost for Contemporary Art is putting a call out for artists,
musicians, performers, and performance acts to participate in the first
annual Outpost Cup.
The Outpost Cup is a soccer tournament for various age and skill levels
and a performance art and music happening to be held at Los Angeles'
scenic Vista Hermosa park on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 10am-6pm.
The Outpost Cup is a fundraiser presented by and benefiting Outpost for
Contemporary Art, the Highland Park based non-profit that bridges the
local and international in its art and culture programs and is known for
programs that blur the boundaries of art, social practice and public
life.
The Outpost Cup also celebrates Outpost for Contemporary Art's upcoming
South American residency cycle, launching later this year.

Call for Artists: Night Dive at the Aquarium of the Pacific (deadline May 18 / LA area)

Call for Art!The Aquarium of the Pacific announces a Call for Artists for a one-night event called "Night Dive."

Project Description
Night Dive, held on the evening of Friday, June 25, 2010, is an opportunity for adults 18 and over to explore the Aquarium after dark and to enjoy an exclusive evening of local music, art and culture. The previous Night Dive event held in January attracted 1400 guests and featured 50 art pieces.

The theme for the upcoming Night Dive's one-night exhibition is Beach Iconography. Night Dive aims to celebrate the start of the summer by showcasing different lenses of beach culture- surf, skate, beach cruisers, and the ocean. All entries should relate to the theme.

currently seeking eligible interns for the summer of 2010.

The internships are intended specifically for outstanding students who
are members of groups currently underrepresented in museums and visual
arts organizations: individuals of African American, Asian,
Latino/Hispanic, Native American, and Pacific Islander descent.
