Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) is proud to announce our Biannual Artist Screening.

Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities, resources, services and exhibition venues for emerging Los Angeles artists. Our unique status as a non-profit organization provides us the flexibility for risk-taking beyond what is possible in the commercial gallery system, positioning the organization as a driver of innovative content in Los Angeles. LAAA differentiates itself from other visual arts non-profits by focusing on only Southern California emerging talent in all media and through our competitive, merit-based jury protocols that give our artists entrée to top regional and national gallery/museum professionals. LAAA’s prominent Gallery 825 location on La Cienega Boulevard also offers emerging artists unprecedented access to a professional exhibition space. Today, more than 15,000 individuals come to Gallery 825 to see more than 10 group exhibits and 20 solo exhibits per calendar year. The gallery has become the place in Los Angeles for emerging artists. Artist Screenings are held twice a year, in January and July.

All Artists must live in Southern California.

LAAA invites you to join us for a pre-screening orientation. It is suggested that interested artists attend the Orientation, but attendance is not required. Please do not bring your submission materials to this Orientation.
