Request for photos of people living with HIV-AIDS worldwide

AMP's picture

Starting soon GlobalCompassion.com will feature photos from around the world of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Please:

1. Visit http://www.globalcompassion.com
2. Submit photos of people living with HIV/AIDS
3. Tell others to do the same

The purpose is to create a documentary record and personal history of
people worldwide living with HIV/AIDS. Related goals are: a) to help new
people to connect with the issues and needs, b) to put real people in
focus through daily images and stories, c) to provoke action.

Many who are uninvolved still think HIV/AIDS primarily affects
homosexual men, drug users, etc. They don't grasp the true scope and
nature of the epidemic. To break down this stereotype and connect with
such people, the site will emphasize photos showing how women, children,
and families are affected. But the full variety of people living with
HIV/AIDS will be featured over time along with stories when provided.
