Kunst ist ein Weg ohne Ende. Ob man das Ziel erreicht oder nicht, sie ist ein Weg mit vielen Hürden und Erschwernissen. Vincent, Rousseau, Nolde, Gauguin haben das Ziel unterschiedlich erreicht. Die Zeiten damals waren nicht anders als das von Heute. Sie hatten nie eine Kunstschule von innen gesehen und doch war in ihnen der Geist der Künste. Picasso hatte damals per Zufall auf dem Flohmarkt Rousseau's Bilder entdeckt. Er organisierte prompt ein Manifest für ihn. So wurde die Fantasiekunst gerettet und anerkannt. Vincent dagegen konnte sein Erfolg leider nicht mehr sehen und auskosten. Was ist Kunst und wann ist Kitsch? Diese Frage beschäftigt vielen von uns. Die Kunst ist nicht kopieren sondern zum Ausdruck bringen. Der Künstler hat den Drang sich zum Ausdruck bringen zuwollen. E. Ludwig Kirchner hat mal gesagt: "Farben sind die Freude des Lebens. Künstler wird man aus Verzweiflung."
Viele der Künstler spüren den Drang die Zeit zu verlangsamen zuwollen aber Wir können es nicht. Sogar Gauguin versuchte der Zivilisation zu entfliehen und wurde auch auf Haiti nicht fündig was er suchte und begehrte. Michael Heinzer lebt seit Jahren abgeschieden in der Wüste und lebt seinen Herzenswunsch von der Kindheit aus. Die Einsamkeit kann für den Künstler auch sehr nützlich und produktiv sein. Manchmal kann das Geld doch helfen. Natürlich kann es auch nicht immer gut gehen was man vorgenommen hat. Der Erfolg ist ein Phänomen! Die vergangene Zeit zu kopieren bringt dem Künstler nichts, weil es eine reine Zeitverschwendung sein kann. Mann kann Studien treiben mit Bildern von Delacroix, Hodler, Marc. Mann kann sie aber niemals kopieren. Der Künstler weiss es. Viele wollen vom Kuchen abbeisen. Der Künstler will sich nur zum Ausdruck bringen um etwas mitteilen zukönnen. Der wahre Künstler ist nicht wirklich am Geld interessiert. Der Handwerker dagegen ist exakt und ist ein Beruf der Gewerbetreibender. Kitsch kann nie Kunst sein! Kitsch kann aber dekorativ sein! Der Künstler dagegen ist kein Handwerker und auch kein Dekorateur. Weshalb sich Kitsch auch besser und schneller verkauft auf dem Markt als die Kunst.

Art is a way without end. Whether one the goal reached or not, it is a way with many hurdles and complications. Vincent, Rousseau, Nolde, Gauguin achieved the goal differently. The times at that time were not differently than that today. They had never an art school seen and nevertheless were from the inside in them the spirit of the arts. Picasso had at that time by coincidence on the flea market Rousseau's of pictures discovers. It organized promptly a manifesto for him. Thus the Fantasy Art was saved and recognized. Vincent against it could not to be success unfortunately any longer see and to sample. What is art and when is kitsch? This question employs many of us. The art is not copies but to the expression brings. The artist has the urge to the expression brings himself to will. E. Ludwig Kirchner said times: "Colors are the joy of the life. An artist one becomes from despair." Many the artist to feel the urge the time to slow down to will however we cannot. Even Gauguin tried to escape the civilization and did not become also on Haiti not found which it searched and desired. Michael Heizer lives for years solitaryly in the desert and realizes its heart desire of the childhood. The isolation can be for the artist also very useful and productive.
