Call for Submissions: International Documentary Festival

International documentary festival seeks films

Film makers are invited to submit their work to the 9th Beirut
International Documentary Festival scheduled be held in the Lebanese
capital from November 7 to 11. The deadline for submissions is June
1.

The festival, which is dubbed "Docudays" has two competition
categories. The first is dedicated to documentaries made by Arab
film makers, and the second is open to producers from all other
regions of the world. An award will be presented to the best short,
medium and long film in each category.

Interested participants should send a tape in VHS or DVD format
along with three stills from the submitted film, a synopsis, a photo
of the director and a short biography. Submitted films should not
previously have been screened in Lebanon and must have been produced
after January 2006.

Entries and application forms can be sent to: DocuDays, Beirut
