Sound Digital Exhibition

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL FEBRUARY 10th
The Second International Theatre Sound Score and Music Composition
Exhibition

General Information:
This exhibit is intended to represent sound design and compositional
work from artists around the globe. It is open to any audio work
created from June 2002 to present including but not limited to:

Theatrical Soundscores
Audio from Installations
Original Music
Work-in-progress
Dance scores
Sound Art
Work produced for no purpose other than your own artistic fulfilment

The hope is to celebrate a broad range of audio artistry that
compliments the audio work exhibited in the individual country
exhibits and the Schools of Scenography exhibit. If you have already
had work accepted to another portion of the PQ, that doesn't preclude
you from submitting to this exhibit – hopefully, different work that
wouldn't fit into those exhibit's parameters.

The exhibit will consist of several kiosks around the main PQ exhibit
hall. Each station will have multiple, noise cancelling headphones
for listening and computer screens for viewing the visual content.
Viewers will be free to navigate the exhibit as they choose.

Submission Process:
Submissions should be a single stereo audio file – an extract from a
longer work, a collage of multiple pieces or cues, or a short self-
contained work – of no more than seven minutes in length. Audio files
should be:
Stereo
44.1kHz, 16 bit
.WAV or .AIFF format
Seven minutes or less
Named with the identical file name given on the submission form.

Entries can be posted or emailed and further details can be found at
http://www.scenofest.org or by contacting Joe Pino at
jpino@andrew.cmu.edu.
