The Nature Conservancy's Andy Warhol Preserve Visual Arts Program

Deadline: February 1, 2007.

The Andy Warhol Visual Arts Committee, comprised of artists, educators and The Nature Conservancy staff, accepts applications from artists who are interested in the artist-in-residence program. Artists in residence are provided with basic housing for one week, during which time they have access to the Andy Warhol Preserve for artistic pursuits. The artist in residence agrees to conduct one educational workshop during his or her stay, but is free to pursue his/her own artistic endeavors during the rest of the week. Artists interested in conducting programs and/or participating as an artist in residence at the Andy Warhol Preserve should send a cover letter and resume. Visitors to the preserve are asked to leave it in the condition it was found. The preserve is located in a remote area and a car suitable for a rough road is essential. Note that housing is located several miles from the preserve. The Andy Warhol Visual Arts Committee, c/o The Nature Conservancy, PO Box 5125, East Hampton, NY 11937.
