Evel Knievel The Rock Opera is casting singers for a two-night showcase, in preparation for a full run in the spring of 2007, at the newly renovated Bootleg Theatre (formerly The Evidence Room). The story
explorers the journey of the greatest daredevil of all time and is set to original music in the classic rock style of the early 70's by award winning composer Jeff Beck.

Seeking- Evel Knievel: mid 30's, charismatic, solid classic rock vocal range; Linda Knievel: 25-30, Evel's wife, tender, brave, genuine, Mezzo-soprano; Father Time: 30-45, an Elvis impersonator, grand stature;
Marty Sugarman: 25-35; average looks, plays Evel's controlling friend, envious, alto; Tex Montana: 25-40, good 'ol boy, loyal, tenor/alto; Diane Lovette: 20-30, a reporter, sexy, soulful, feisty, Contralto; Chorus Singers: (they will be featured prominently!) male and female, 18-30, physically fit, great singers and dancers, full vocal range.

classic rock songs for you to prepare. Auditions will be held by appt. only November 28-29 at Bootleg Theatre 2220 Beverly Blvd. LA, CA, 90057 Callbacks will be held December 2-3. No pay for the two-night showcase,
but performers will have the inside track for the full production run in Spring 2007.
