Part-Time Program
Coordinator (Bilingual: Spanish/English)
Theatre of the Oppressed NYC

Organization Description:
Theatre of the Oppressed NYC (TONYC)’s mission is to partner with communities confronting
oppression to inspire transformative action through interactive theatre. We are
dedicated to sparking concrete social and institutional change through a
powerful style of theatre that is interactive, playful, and unlike anything
most audiences have ever experienced. Through long-term partnerships with
community and advocacy groups such as the The Center for Court Innovation,
Breaking Ground, and Housing Works, we develop and perform plays based on the
challenges their members face confronting economic inequality, racism, and
other systems of oppression.
