The Museum of Emotions https://www.museofemo.com/ is a One Year project that is online and interactive. It grows with submissions and engagement with the site and we are looking for new emotions!

Guidelines for submitting an emotion:

Submissions can be photographic, video based, audio, sculptural, edible, you name it. I accept any format for display - pano shots, triptychs, and multiple shots.
Submissions should be created to communicate an emotion. Texture may matter more to you than, say, composition. Or sound may be incorporated into your piece. You are welcome to share any story you like but please choose one emotion that your submission depicts. In one word.

All work belongs to the creator. The Museum of Emotions will not own any submissions on the site and if you decide to remove your submission you may do so by sending us an email. Work on the site, however, may be shown on Instagram too with credit to the creator.

Submissions must be original work only. No reproductions of others' work, no screenshots of others' tweets, no sampling of others' art unless it's been incorporated into mixed media that is yours.

Please be sure to include your name (anonymous entries and initials only are fine too) with your submission. Submissions are emailed to museofemo@gmail.com and the Museum takes care of uploading it to the site.

Suggestion: meditate on how you feel. Sit for a few minutes and scan your body. Try to visualize the shape, the volume, the scale, the intricacies of what you feel. Open your eyes. Spend 15 minutes looking through your house for everyday and unique items that resonate with you. Or take a walk and pick up the objects you find that might correlate to your feelings. Or just cook - :) I once made an entire meal of Grief Food. It's a thing.
