CHANORTH is pleased to announce the jurors for the 2021-2022 Summer Residency Season. Each year, ChaNorth invites a cohort of jurors to review applications and make the recommendations for our finalists. This year we invited art professionals who are already part of ChaNorth extended art community either as visiting artists or resident artists. We are very grateful and fortunate to have these professionals helping us in 2021.

YASMEEN SIDDIQUI is the founder of Minerva Projects, is an independent curator, essayist and sometimes lecturer, committed to voicing marginal narratives. Her writing has appeared on Hyperallergic and in ART PAPERS, the Cairo Times, Medina Magazine, Flash Art, Modern Painters, NKA and The Brooklyn Rail, and in books and exhibition catalogues.STEFAN HAGEN photographer and founder of the Montello Foundation, a foundation dedicated to support artists who foster our understanding of nature. JEE HWANG, ChaNorth alumna and studio visiting artist, artist and Assistant Professor in painting at Fort Hays State University.AUDRA LAMBERT is the Gallery Director at Amos Eno Gallery in Brooklyn. She is an art critic, curator, Founder/Editor-in-Chief of ANTE mag, Founder/Chief Curator of Antecedent Projects and a co-founder of grassroots arts initiative alt_break.
