FIAC is now accepting applications for the 2019 edition of the fair.

The 46th FIAC will be held in Paris from Thursday, October 17 to Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the Grand Palais. The vernissage will take place on Wednesday, October 16.

FIAC Galleries—Grand Palais—General Sector & Lafayette Sector
FIAC's General Sector will feature some 180 galleries specialising in modern and contemporary art presenting a balanced panorama of artistic creation from modern masters to the most emerging trends. Galleries will be deployed in the exceptional spaces of the Grand Palais: the Nave on the ground floor together with the Salon d'honneur, the Salon Jean Perrin and the Upper Galleries on the first floor. The North-East Gallery, located on the ground floor with direct access to the Nave, will also house booths.

The Lafayette Sector, a programme launched in 2009 by FIAC and the Groupe Galeries Lafayette, Official Sponsor, is designed to showcase galleries of the young generation. The Lafayette Sector provides significant funding for a group of ten galleries, founded in 2009 or after. They are selected by an independent jury on the basis of the quality of their year-round exhibition programmes and a project specially conceived for FIAC 2019.

Application forms are available for completion online and will be open until Thursday, March 21: https://exhibitors.fiac.com/en/admission.htm

FIAC Projects—Petit Palais & Avenue Winston Churchill
FIAC Projects allows exhibitors to present artworks in exceptional conditions in direct proximity to their booths, both inside the Petit Palais and on the Avenue Winston Churchill, pedestrianised during FIAC week.

In 2019, FIAC Projects is conceived in collaboration with Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, curator at the Palais de Tokyo. In her capacity as invited curator, Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel participates in the selection of artworks together with FIAC and the curatorial teams of the Petit Palais and is responsible for the conception and design of the exhibition presented within the Petit Palais.

FIAC Hors les Murs—Jardin des Tuileries, Musée Delacroix, Place Vendôme & Place de la Concorde
FIAC Hors les Murs is an exhibition of outdoor artworks presenting sculptures and installations to the widest possible audience in emblematic public spaces throughout the city. Providing a unique opportunity for artists to enter into a dialogue with Parisian heritage sites, the programme encourages increased knowledge and favors ease of access to contemporary creation at its best.

FIAC Hors les Murs is housed in prestigious Parisian venues including the Jardin des Tuileries, the Place de la Concorde, the musée national Eugène Delacroix and the Place Vendôme.

Application forms for FIAC Projects and FIAC Hors les Murs are available for completion online and will be open until Friday, July 5: https://exhibitors.fiac.com/en/admission.htm
