Good afternoon,

The Fund for Public Health in New York City, on behalf of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, is pleased to release the attached Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for professional muralists to collaborate on the New York City Mural Arts Project (NYCMAP) from October 2018 to June 2019 in three neighborhoods: East New York (BK), Sunset Park (BK) and Elm Park (SI).

This is a great opportunity for artists to help promote mental health awareness and reduce stigmas around mental illness at the community level, while creating large and highly visible public works of art across New York City. We launched the program in November 2016 and are excited to expand our work and mission to new communities this year. To learn more about the program please visit www.nycmap.org or its social media handles (facebook, instagram, or vimeo). Please feel free to share this opportunity within your networks and creative circles.

Applications are due no later than Sunday, September 9th at 11:59pm EST and must be submitted to zelalami@fphnyc.org.

Please find all RFQ information available at this link.
