Call for Artists - International Performance Festival! The performance art depot' s International Performance Festival is going into its eighth season in 2016! We, the pad team, again invite artists from all around the world to perform on our stage in Mainz, Germany, during the last week of April/first week of May 2016. Deadline for sending in applications is Friday 8th January 2016! Curious? Interested? The pad team is looking forward to your applications!

We offer:

- A unique international festival that is small in scale but high in profile and welcoming in atmosphere.

- The performance art depot's stage and team. pad is an extraordinary and beautiful independent venue with a committed team, both homebase to artists Schmitt&Schulz and a platform for introducing innovative, experimental performance, theatre, dance, live art and other forms of contemporary performing arts.

- An interested and open audience. Press as well as curators and artistic directors of other festivals and theatres will be invited.

- A small performance fee and travel expense allowance. We also take care of accommodation and catering.

We look for:

- Unusual performance projects that may rely on light and sound, include video art, digital art, multi-media and/or focus on body, choreography or dance elements.

- Productions that are adaptable to an unusual stage with basic technical standard.

- Ideally small teams that should consist of no more than five people. Please be ready to travel via low price airlines or other low cost travel opportunities.

- Applications via e-mail or post to the address below which include a brief CV or portrayal of your company, project description and DVD or online video documentation (links to clips on you

tube, vimeo, myspace or your own homepage for example) of your performance – preferably longer continuous material. Without this we can unfortunately not invite you.
