One of Australia's most significant contemporary art spaces, the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) is currently recruiting an Artistic Director, to replace Juliana Engberg, who is departing in April to take up the role of Programme Director for the European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017.

Located in the heart of Melbourne's Southbank arts precinct in an award-winning and iconic Wood/Marsh designed building, this non-collecting gallery is renowned for its influential exhibition and public programs.

With a rigorous approach to presenting the latest developments in national and international contemporary art and a focus on new commissions and themed group exhibitions, ACCA has played a central role in advocating for contemporary art since it was established over 30 years ago.

The AD is responsible for all aspects of this dynamic institutions' artistic programs, including exhibitions, public and education programs, publications, special projects and professional development programs for artists.
