WHAT IS COMPANY CREATION FESTIVAL:
CCF is a festival of new works generated by ensembles using unconventional means. Four productions are presented in repertory over eight weeks, through January and February. Projects are selected through a written application. Each selected production receives 10 performances, a small honorarium to offset production costs and staff support.

FESTIVAL DATES:
January 8 – March 2, 2014

THE ARTISTIC FOCUS OF CCF:
• Adventurous work with an emphasis on company-devised work.
• Self-contained projects with committed artistic staff/teams.
• Companies/Artists that share a strong sense of supporting the greater theatrical community and will appreciate performing in repertory festival scenario.

WHAT CCF PROVIDES:
• Venue for rehearsals, tech and performances. • The design and printing of marketing materials and playbills. • E-marketing and cross-promotion between festival productions. • Box office and ticketing staff and support. • Theatrical lighting and sound equipment, as well as designers for sound/lighting needs.

WHAT FESTIVAL PARTICIPANTS PROVIDE:
• The production and scenery, props and costumes. • All creative and technical staff for rehearsing and performing the production. • Commitment to promote the festival as a whole.

REHEARSAL AVAILABILITY @ SOSE:
SOSE will provide each production with a limited amount of free rehearsal time in November and December. Additional time can be rented at a 50%-off rate. The free hours will be scheduled based on availability. Past participants have received anywhere from 15-30 free hours of rehearsal time!

• A stipend of $300 is paid to each production to offset production costs, but we know this will not cover all expenses. It is intended just to add to your own fundraising efforts. NOTE: This payment is contingent upon the participant fulfilling their commitment of all 10 scheduled performances. If a performance is cancelled, this fee is forfeited.
• All tickets to the festival are sold through the SOSE website. Individual tickets are $15 for all shows and there are no discounts of any kind. The Festival Pass is $40 and entitles the purchaser to one ticket to each of the four festival productions.
• Each producer may request up to 10 comps throughout their run for their own performances.
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE, MIXERS AND PRODUCTION MEETINGS:
• Performances: Wednesday-Saturday @ 8PM & Sunday @ 5PM • Production Meetings & Mixers: TBA
