House Manager

The Performing Arts Education Centers located in Agoura Hills and Calabasas are actively looking for House Managers to add to their Over-Hire list. Our house managers oversee the Box Office, Concessions, and all ushers and custodians during all PAEC events, both internal school events and events with outside renters. At the PAECs, our House Managers are called Event Coordinators and are booked based whenever we have events in one of the four theaters.

Both centers have fully equipped concessions areas. Tickets for all productions are sold through Vendini Ticketing Services.

Over-hire Backstage Staff

The Performing Arts Education Centers located in Agoura Hills and Calabasas are actively looking for Front of House and Backstage Staff to add to their Over-Hire list. While a small portion of the work may involve high school concerts and productions, our over-hires work primarily on all-pro crews with outside clients during rentals.

Just opened in January of 2013, each center holds two, state-of-the-art theaters, a 680-seat Mainstage and a 99-seat Black Box.

SOUND ENGINEERS

The Centers' four theaters boast full digital sound packages designed and installed by AMT. We run a Yamaha M7 and a Yamaha LS9, a MOTU 896, Qlab for playback, and a complete package of mics from SM58 to 414 to 4066.

STAGEHANDS, ELECTRICIANS, AND SCENIC CARPENTERS

Each Mainstage is a fully rigged proscenium theater with 32 linesets including 2 ladders, 4 raceway'd electrics batons, a midstage traveler, a flying/traveling main drape, a Wenger orchestra shell, and a complete scene shop. All skill levels are needed for this brand new facility.

PROJECTIONS

The Centers' four theaters boast full projections capabilities, with FOH projectors in each Black Box Theater and both FOH and a 6-projector Rear Projections system in the two Mainstage Theaters. We use Q-lab for FOH playback and a dedicated media server running Watchout to operate the rear projections systems.

WARDROBE SUPERVISORS

The Centers' two buildings each boast fully-appointed Costume Shops with everything you'd need to build an entire show or just maintain a few pieces during a one-day event.
