Seeking Studio Program Assistant/Customer Service Coordinator

Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena is
seeking a friendly, outgoing, customer-service oriented person to manage
student registration for over 350 studio art classes per year. This
detail-oriented individual will work in our busy front office.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

* entering all registrations for art classes and maintaining
precise database records using Raiser's Edge
* processing class fees
* maintaining rosters
* keeping detailed records in established systems

Other responsibilities include:

* assisting with preparation for the Studio space for daily classes
* working with volunteers
* proofing studio publication materials
* maintaining statistics
* coordinating tuition assistance program
* answering and directing phone calls
* assisting visitors
* providing administrative support to the Studio Department
* responding to inquiries from the public

Experience with customer service and art is essential along with a
patient, efficient, friendly, and focused working manner. The ideal
candidate will have the ability to work well with interruptions, work
well under pressure, and be very flexible.

Requirements:

* customer service & database experience (Raiser's Edge
preferred)
* proficiency in Microsoft Office
* minimum of 2 years office experience
* Spanish and/or Korean language proficiency a plus
* Bachelors degree in Fine Art or related field also a plus
* Experience working with children, parents and families

This position is 40 hrs./week during summer, 30 hrs./week the rest of
the year.This position has set hours.
