The Long Beach Central Area Association is VOLUNTEER tax-exempt non-profit in Long Beach, California. MusicUNTOLD is the program/event production arm of LBCAA. All of MusicUNTOLD events/program are FREE to the public except one(1) annual ticketed concert. On September 22, 2012, MusicUNTOLD partnered with KUSC Classical Radio to present the 150th Anniversary Emancipation Proclamation Concert featuring national and local classical and opera artists. The concert was broadcast on December 29, 2012 and streamed on-demand via www.KUSC.org through January 31, 2013.

MusicUNTOLD will present a CONCERT to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of MARCH on WASHINGTON and Dr. King's I HAVE A DREAM speech titled 50th Anniversary MLK 'SYMPHONY of BROTHERHOOD' Concert on 8-18-2013 , 3:00 PM Zipper Hall (Colburn School) featuring national and local classical and opera artists. The MARCH on Washington was the largest demonstration for FREEDOM an JOBS in the history of our nation. Please see www.musicuntold.comfor committed artists to date. The concert will present Dr. King in a little recognized appreciation of classical and opera music (including Mrs. Coretta King who was a vocal graduate of New England Conservatory of Music), a correlation of I HAVE A DREAM speech to Beethoven Symphony #9 , and King's historical footprint in Los Angeles.

The live concert will be recorded for KUSC Radio and offered to public television. The actual anniversary date for March on Washington is August 28m 2013.
