The Pasadena Conservatory of Music's Jazz Studies Department invites
students in the seventh to twelfth grade to apply for one of several
scholarships for individual instruction. Scholarships are available for
students who are currently studying the following instruments: percussion,
double bass, saxophone, piano, guitar, brass and woodwinds. Interested
students should call 626-683-3355 or email *music@pasadenaconservatory.org*
to schedule an audition and interview.

The Conservatory's Jazz Studies Department features a world-class faculty
comprised of active artist/educators, including guitarist Steve Cotter,
pianist Gary Fukushima, trombonist Toby Holmes, bassist Sherry Luchette,
percussionist Roy McCurdy, and saxophonist Damon Zick. Courses are designed
to develop jazz musicians of various skill levels and expertise.

Known for its comprehensive curriculum and highly trained faculty, the
Pasadena Conservatory of Music prepares emerging artists as well as

on their instruments. Over the past 28 years, the Conservatory has placed
students in the finest schools of music in the nation, including Eastman,
Juilliard, Berklee and the Thornton School.
