The exhibition will run in the evenings from October 19 to November 18 in public space in Maastricht and Heerlen, the two largest cities of the Southern Netherlands, close to the borders with Belgium and Germany.

27 international video artists and 7 Sound artists will participate in the exhibition. Two sound artworks will be selected through this Open Call. The deadline is September 17th.

If you are a European composer or sound artist and the theme language and communication inspires you to create a short audio piece, or if you already have a piece that complements or represents this theme, then you are invited to send in your work. Intro in situ and the Viewmaster foundation will pay an artist's fee of 300€ (including taxes) for each of the two nominated entries.
