Vallejo’s “A Prayer for the Earth Eco Installation†solo exhibition has closed at the Southwest Museum, TX, and has officially opened at the McNider Museum, Iowa in April. Her newest series entitled “Make ‘Em All Mexican†is scheduled for exhibit at Arte Americas in conjunction with the Fresno Art Museum coordinated by the Central California Museum of Art and Gordon Fuglie, Advisory Council Member in June 2012, and at UC San Bernardino Fullerton Museum in September 2012.

Tomorrow: National Sustainability in Theatre Conference dialogue

Tomorrow (sorry about the super-short notice), LA theatre artists have the
opportunity to engage in a national dialogue about sustainability in
theatre. This national dialogue will also serve as a prequel to an
in-person sustainability event in June, to be announced later this week.

The participation tomorrow is free- all are welcome to join for some or all
of the sessions, and we\'ll provide coffee!

Sustainability in Theatre Conference - Remote LA Location on Tuesday, May
1, 2012

LA Stage Alliance is hosting a local webinar location for the
Sustainability in Theater Conference happening in Minneapolis. Producer
Stephanie Kerley Schwartz will be present and will facilitate local
discussion, in conjuction with the national facilitators in Minneapolis.
Participants will dialogue with others from several cities around the
country.

All sessions will be held in the LA STAGE Alliance offices:
644 S. Figueroa St.
LA, CA 90017
2nd floor of the Engine Co. 28 building on Figueroa between Wilshire and
7th.
Parking is available for $5-$10 in several lots and structures on Flower
between 7th and 8th.

Sessions:
9 am - 11 am: Sustainable Art Making or Messaging: Telling the story and
making the case for sustainability
11:15 am - 1 pm: Sustainable Administration: Big-picture thinking
1pm - 2 pm: Energy! Measuring your impact, reducing your load
2pm - 3 pm: Either Greener Facilities OR Greener Stagecraft for small and
nomadic companies
