West Hollywood Arts Grants Opportunities

The City of West Hollywood, through its Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission, is pleased to offer annual grants to eligible, non-profit arts organizations for the production, performance or presentation of art projects in West Hollywood to serve the West Hollywood community. Projects that celebrate some aspect of City culture, history, or other civic element, will be particularly
welcome. The maximum award any organization may receive is $7,500. The Commission encourages collaboration between arts organizations or consortia, to present special events or projects. Up to $10,000 may be awarded to such consortia and collaborative events. Applicants may request funding as an organization and as part of a consortium, but not for the same project.

The City is also pleased to offer arts participation grants aimed at small arts education projects developed by educational, social service, or community-based organizations in which art is not a primary purpose but that require assistance to establish or support
an arts related project for their members. These grants are especially suited to organizations that want to undertake an arts education program for a specific population, such as seniors,
children, or special needs groups. The grants are meant to increase access to or participation in the arts and could be used for such activities as lectures, visiting artists, visits to museums, art performances or activities which engage participants in making art. The maximum award any organization may receive is $1,000.
