SoundCinema: Call for Artists/Sound Artists/Film Makers

SoundFjord, London's only sound art devoted gallery and research unit is currently programming films/AV work for a 'sound season'. The works will be screened at a renowned arthouse cinema in London, c. Nov/Dec 2010.

SoundFjord is open to ideas, though as a guide, here is a list of what we are currently interested in screening:

✧films with seminal scores/use of silence
✧silent films given a new score
✧AV work experimenting in sound/vision
✧films on sound, sound art, noise, etc.
✧docs on artists working in sound/experimental music, individuals with jobs that involve using sound/technology, etc
✧science docs on sound/perception
✧ethnographic films highlighting different kinds of music/listening

If you'd like to be part of this season of sound-related films and AV works this winter...

PLEASE SEND US LINKS TO THE WORK (OR COPIES OF THE ACTUAL WORK) ALONG WITH A SYNOPSIS AND SHORT BIO ASAP!

We would also like to hear your requests for films you'd like to see that fit the brief!
