Submissions due September 15, 2010

Mission: Native Voices at the Autry is the nation's premiere theatre company dedicated to the development and production of new works for the stage by Native American and First Nations artists.

Events: All work received by September 15, 2010 will be considered for the 2011 Playwrights Retreat and Festival of New Plays and 2011 First Look Series. For detailed information regarding these events, please copy and paste the following URL into your web browser:

Guidelines for Submission: We only accept completed full-length plays. Please use a standard play-script format, number all pages, and include a title page and cast breakdown. Also, previously submitted plays should only be re-submitted if the play has undergone significant changes. To inquire about the status of a previously submitted play, please contact Carlenne Lacosta, Native Voices Director of New Play Development & Production, at carlenne@gmail.com.

All submissions must include:
Full contact information (mailing address, phone number, email address)
75-100 word biography including tribal affiliation
Development History for the play that is being submitted
Self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your materials returned
