Call to Artists:

Ten Women Gallery, Venice, a non-profit gallery located in the heart of the uber-chic
Venice "boho" gallery-and-shops matrix, is hosting a reception for their March show
titled: LOST AND FOUND: ASSEMBLAGE ART
In addition to our main gallery space, we have a lovely patio in back with seating area and
wall space. We are inviting local established and emerging artists to submit work for
consideration to exhibit in this space on
Sat march 7th 6pm-9pm (lighting will be provided)

Theme: The patio work does not have to be assemblage format. We will consider all forms
of art and sculpture. The space is not huge, so no huge pieces.

Fee: Ten Women Gallery is charging $15 for review of up to 5 pieces, to be submitted to
the show curator and resident artist, Mavis Leahy. Selection will be based on pieces that
are in line with the exhibit's gestalt (this does not mean "gender", men are invited to
submit, too!) and space available. Images of pieces not chosen for this show will be kept
on file for inclusion in future exhibitions. Make checks out to: Ten Women Gallery

Sales: No commission will be charged on sales of pieces. Sales are to be handled by the
artist. Artwork must be brought in and removed by artist on the day (which means: stay
and party with us during the reception!)

Deadline: Images of artworks to be considered for inclusion in this exhibit must be
submitted by Feb 14th, 2009 to Mavis Leahy. Jpegs (up to 5) may be sent to her email at
turkeyred1@aol.com, 818 368-8968,
or 8x10 photos (up to 5) may be dropped off c/o Mavis at the gallery.
Artists will be notified of inclusion by the 20th.
