An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and dynamic curator to join Barbican Art Gallery, a leading London venue for the presentation of modern and contemporary art, photography, architecture and design exhibitions. Part of the Barbican Centre, Europe's largest arts venue, the Gallery's activities take place in the context of a widely acclaimed programme of international music, dance, theatre, visual arts and cinema.
Dori Atlantis & Karen Frimkess Wolff have 2 large site specific installations at the Platt Gallery, American Jewish University.
Grains of Connection is made of salt, glass rocks and shards, adobe, branches, metal structure and monofilament.

10x10 Booth Space - $450 on or after May 25. (Includes canopy. Per Los Angeles City Fire Dept all canopies must be supplied by Abbot Kinney Festival).

The Actors Fund's Health Insurance Resource Center (HIRC), in partnership with The Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) and Leveraging Investments in Creativity (LINC), recently launched a national artists' health care reform website, Artists United for Health Care www.artistsunitedforhealthcare.org
The website's goal is to enable artists to get directly involved in advocating for meaningful and real reform through sending letters to their Congressional representatives and by joining with other participating organizations who are working hard to effect change.

Next Pomona Artwalk is September 12th from 6pm -11pm. We're seeking artists in Music, Fashion, Art, and Photography. Display your art for a month at one of the hottest galleries in Pomona. Now accepting submissions in jpeg or link (website) for consideration. If selected, we ask $10 for each piece that you would like to submit. Extra charge for pieces larger than 3ftx3ft. This will cover costs to throw the event. We wont take commission for any art sale. Now accepting submissions. Deadlines for submissions is August 31st.
