Who is Eligible:
Competition is open to all artists over 18 years of age, working in all media, regardless of experience or nationality.

Applicants who are accepted into our International Competitions will have their work showcased on LarkGallery Online linked to their own websites. Press releases will be sent to all major art news magazines, both nationally and internationally. Participants' works will be viewed by by thousands of art lovers and buyers, museum curators, designers, and gallery owners (see Current Exhibition page).

Three overall winners chosen by our international jury will be awarded a one year Membership in LarkGallery OnLine and a presentation as Featured Artist on our website. For each winner our design team will create a web page worth $500 (see Featured Artists page).

Our sponsor - Tron/Cordhosting will offer free web hosting to our selected winners worth $100 and opportunity to sell their art on-line. Our winners will also be considered for representation by ZC Gallery in Portland and Chicago, HKazan Fine Arts Gallery in Los Angeles, Nicka Gallery in Tzfat, Israel and Art Germann Gallery in Moscow.

Online Art Display:
The artists selected for this competition will have their art displayed on LarkGallery OnLine's current exhibition page for three months.

After three months, their art will be moved for display in our Archives for an additional year. Through advertising of both current and upcoming shows, viewers and participants will receive the benefits of continuous marketing by our international team.

Our Main Juror is Peter Frank - Senior Curator at the Riverside Art Museum, editor of newly-launched THE magazine, past editor of Visions Art Quarterly, and art critic for Angeleno Magazine and the L. A. Weekly.

Submission

This competition is run entirely over the Internet, which eliminates the need for the artists to send slides or arrange for physical transportation/shipping of their work. Fees: $25.00 for up to three digital images ($20.00 for AMP members). $5.00 for each additional image. Limit of five entries per person. To read more about how to enter, please click here.

Schedule for Art Without Borders:
• November 15, 2008: Submissions must be received
• November 30, 2008: Accepted artists will be notified by e-mail
• December 15, 2008: Accepted art will be posted to the Current exhibition page
• January 15, 2009: First, Second and Third place winners will be announced
• February 15, 2009: The work of the First, Second and Third place winners art will be posted on specially-created web pages linked to their own websites. These pages will also be hosted free for one year by Tron/Cordhosting. An announcement will be sent to newspapers, magazines, radio stations and TV networks. News release forms will be available for accepted artists to complete and send to their local news media.

Sales/Promotions:
Selected works will be represented online and remain online for 1 year. This exposure ensures that your work will be exposed to a vast number of art museum curators, gallery owners, designers, collectors and art enthusiasts around the world. Links to your website will be posted so that anyone viewing your work may contact you directly for sales information. LGO does not take a commission on any sales made directly through your own gallery.
