AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Lumpy papier mache heads, stuffed cloth bodies on sticks, arms operate on slender sticks or stiff wire. Uncle Scam is the primary clothing designer, I paint the faces without knowing what they'll be in advance. Sometimes, U.S. and I will be discussing one of these hapless beings as we clothe it and realize we had differing ideas of , er, the thing's gender. The clothes and trim are all from scrap. We've thought of entering some for shows of what is apparently called 'art brute' w/ a French accent -- anyone know anything about that?
