The piece is a 36"wx72"h wall hanging on parchment paper (2 details at right). The pierced nipples are part his/part hers, part ornamental/part functional, part concrete/part symbolic, part serious/part humorous; they are at once familiar yet out of place. The black and white interlacing pattern is like an architectural tattoo, raising questions about the connection between paper surface and the human body.
