AMP Member of the Week Atiim Chenzira is a renaissance human being. As an active artist of words, Atiim creates songs, raps, spoken word pieces and poetry, sings with a group called Shotwell 25 in the San Francisco Bay area, and leads a band called Supa FRENDZ, soon to become BOMANI. As a community organizer, Atiim organizes musicians in a collaborative named Community Urban Soul Project, which raises funds and awareness for such causes as AIDS awareness and cancer, as well as uniting musicians in community to share resources. Atiim also teaches third grade, and is committed to putting beautiful ideals into action.
