For the second time, the APCd Foundation is offering an artist the chance to immerse himself or herself in a creative phase for a three-month period.

APCd is committed to the interests of contemporary art through different projects, and offers its support to contemporary artists in producing works of art. The foundation was created on June 1st 2015 by gallery owner and patron Pierre Eichenberger and is a continuation of the spirit of the former APCd Gallery. The headquarters of the foundation are located on the former industrial site of Ilford, now in a new incarnation as the Marly Innovation Centre, close to Fribourg (Marly, Switzerland).

In the context of the exhibition 'La Mobilité' which will run from June to September 2016, APCd is making available an artist's studio from mid-March to the end of June 2016. This creative space offers an exceptional industrial framework and is ideal for experimentation.
The goal of the residency is the realisation of a specific project in the form of a work of art or a performance which would be presented to the public during the La Mobilité exhibition.
As well as having the use of the studio and the opportunity to present one's work at the exhibition, the person chosen will also benefit from financial support of CHF 1'000 per month (transport and costs of material included).

. The residency is open to artists of all ages and disciplines.
. The awarding of the residency will be decided by the executive committee of APCd.
. The jury refuses to enter into any justification of its decision. Appeals will not be considered.

. Candidates' applications must contain the following :
- A letter of motivation detailing the artist's intentions with regard to the realisation of a project for the La Mobilité exhibition
- CV
- Portfolio (PDF, website, Dropbox link or similar)

Documents should be sent by email in French, German or English to :
residence@apcd-fondation.com

Deadline : January 20th 2016

All the candidates will be informed of the decision on February 15th 2016.
