ORGANIZATION INFORMATION:
The mission of the TOHYF Artist-In-Residence Program is to prevent and intervene in youth
violence by involving underserved, low-income youth and their families in extended, high quality, standards-based, multidisciplinary fine arts educational workshops. TOHYF Works
with at-risk youth ages 4 to 18 at schools, probation facilities, and community-based sites
throughout Los Angeles County. Since 1992, our Youth First Artist-In-Residence Program
has successfully provided over 102,000 youth with an environment that allows them the
freedom of self-expression. By conducting workshops through TOHYF, professional artists
will help underserved youth learn important skills extending beyond the arts. Please review
our website to learn more.
