Position Overview

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (“The Wallis”) seeks an exceptionally well-organized administrator for the position of Education Associate & Registrar. This position reports to the Manager of Community Engagement and is responsible for providing direct support to the Education Department as a whole. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Participating in the planning and implementation of all department programs and activities; Maintaining departmental correspondence with school partners, course participants and other constituents; Supporting school matinees, Theater for Young Audiences public shows, classes and all other education-related events; General office management and answering department phones; Coordinating class calendars, schedules and course registrations; Serving as primary liaison to parents and students; And maintaining student records and course information utilizing Tessitura. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree, significant experience in a position requiring strong administrative skills particularly in the field of Education, strong verbal and written communication skills, and thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office as well as knowledge of various social media applications and effective strategies for online marketing. First aid/CPR training as well as experience with Tessitura preferred. A deep love for children and a genuine commitment to performing arts education are essential.
