In celebration of Wroclaw's tenure as European Capital of Culture 2016, the Goethe-Institut and WRO Art Centre are issuing a call for projects. We are looking for concepts for original works and artistic actions to be displayed and performed in a 3 x 3 x 6 meter glass container in a public square in the centre of Wroclaw.

The Goethe-Institut is setting up the temporary exhibition and performance space for about three months (15 April to 15 July 2016) and in the form of a container about 6 x 3 x 3 meters, enclosed by glass on three sides (the "Goethe-Institut Pop Up Pavilion"). The pavilion will serve as the basis for a site-specific, interdisciplinary cultural programme with a German-Polish focus, that aims to include the public and encourage it to participate.

We are looking for installations and actions in the fields of contemporary art, performance, music, dance, theatre, social experiment, etc., which can be realized in the Goethe-Institut Pop Up Pavilion.

Who can participate?
Anyone who has the centre of his or her life in Germany or Poland.
