FIAC and OFFICIELLE are now accepting applications for the 2015 editions of the fairs.

The 42nd FIAC will be held in Paris from Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25 in the Grand Palais. The vernissage will take place on Wednesday, October 21.

FIAC will feature some 180 galleries specializing in modern art, contemporary art and emerging trends. They will be deployed in several sectors in the exceptional spaces of the Grand Palais.

The Main Sector (Nave, Salon d'honneur, South-East Gallery on the first floor of the Grand Palais) features around 140 galleries specialising in modern and contemporary art.

Young Contemporaries (South and South-West Galleries on the first floor of the Grand Palais) houses about 30 galleries specializing in contemporary art and emerging trends.

The Lafayette Sector, a programme launched in 2009 by FIAC and the Groupe Galeries Lafayette (official sponsor), provides significant financial support for ten French and international galleries created in or after 2005, and presenting one or two emerging artists.

Application forms are available for completion online and will be open until Wednesday, March 18.

In 2014, 68 galleries from 14 countries participated in OFFICIELLE, FIAC's new event, and over 14,146 entries were recorded for the first edition of the fair.

OFFICIELLE's second edition will take place from Wednesday, October 21 to Sunday, October 25 at the Docks - Cité de la Mode et du Design in Paris, with a vernissage being held on Tuesday, October 20.

OFFICIELLE will host approximately 70 French and international galleries specializing in contemporary and emerging art. The event will provide visitors with the opportunity to discover galleries who are relative newcomers to the international art scene exhibiting ambitious projects by artists whose work defines new and singular territories; galleries whose exhibition programs demonstrate a particular aptitude for decoding the language of contemporary creation and which possess a gift for revealing talents, both by accompanying promising artists of the emerging generation and by the recontextualization of under-recognized historic figures.

Galleries interested in participating in OFFICIELLE can access the application form online. Application forms will be available until Thursday, May 28.
