Ay Ombe theatre´s Performance Autology creative process intensive.
Performance Autology, a creative process based on the biography of the doer; devoted to the inner and outer artist universes. Some of the sources included are biomechanics, yoga, meditation, silence, self-massage, Chinese calligraphy and dialogues/suggestions to your personal creative projects (at any production level).

Open to all, regardless of level or discipline.
Past retreats held in New Zealand, Chile, India and New York. Participants have come from India, New Zealand, Australia, Dominican Republic, United States, Germany, Mexico, Chile, Canada, Greece, Amsterdam, Sweden, among others.

Our retreat is a concrete, feasible, Taylor-made training that solidifies results, emphasizing its process. Every participant ends up with a tangible personal for life/for theatre daily journey/training, a project to polish and share with the cultural community at large.
Josefina Baez (La Romana Dominican Republic/New York) performer, writer, theatre director, educator. Founder and director of Ay Ombe Theatre (April 1986). Baez, is the Alchemist of Performance Autology. Her work is interdisciplinary in scope and intercultural in context. Baez, a transnational artist, have created a genuine dramaturgy based on personal history. A very sough after performer, director and guess teacher, Baez have taught, performed and lectured at many major universities, cultural centers and theatres and Festivals locally and internationally.
