Call for participation:

The knit graffiti collaborative Yarn Bombing Los Angeles (YBLA) is currently seeking participants to work on two separate public art projects that will transform the exterior of Craft and Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) in Los Angeles, CA.

The CAFAM: Granny Squared installation calls for
covering the facade of the museum in granny squares in May 2013. The participants are asked send YBLA 5 inch crocheted granny squares in specific colors by March 1st, 2013. For further info please visit http://www.yarnbombinglosangeles.com/call-for-entry.html

YBLA is also seeking participants for the Urban Letters
project, where interested parties are welcome join the collaborative team that creates provocative phrases on CAFAM's courtyard fence using YBLA's knit letters. There will be four workshops every 3rd Saturday of the month until April 2013. The next workshop is on Saturday, January 19, 2-3:30pm at the museum on 5814 Wilshire Boulevard, Los
Angeles, CA 90036.
