The Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) is pleased to announce that the Guidelines and Application for the First Quarter of the ARC Grants Program (Artists' Resource for Completion), providing funding for artists living in Los Angeles County, are now available for download at www.cciarts.org/funding.

Beginning January 1, 2011, CCI took over administration of the Durfee Foundation's ARC Program (Artists' Resource for Completion). ARC grants provide rapid, short-term assistance to individual artists residing in Los Angeles County who wish to enhance work for a specific, imminent opportunity that may significantly benefit their careers. Artists in any discipline are eligible to apply. The applicant must already have secured an invitation from an established arts organization to present the proposed work. The work must be scheduled for presentation within six months of the application deadline. First Quarter applications must be submitted by 6pm on February 1, 2011.

The Durfee Foundation and the Center for Cultural Innovation are very excited to partner in continuing to make this important and vital resource available to L.A. artists. While the quarterly deadline cycle, selection process and grant dollars available remain the same, by transferring the ARC grants program to CCI, the Durfee Foundation hopes to bring additional resources to the ARC grants program to continue this funding opportunity in the future.

Please help us to spread the word about this unique funding opportunity by forwarding this email to artists and arts organizations in your networks.
