AMP's picture

Venice Arts' mission is to ignite youths’ imagination, mentor their
creativity, and expand their sense of possibility through high quality,
accessible media–based arts education programs. Venice Arts also serves as a
catalyst for people of all ages, living in low–income or underrepresented
communities, to create and share personal and community stories through
photography, film, and multi–media.

Venice Arts is always interested in receiving résumés from qualified,
professional teaching artists interested in working as Contract Faculty when
these positions come available. Selected faculty will be trained by Venice
Arts and given teaching assignments, on an as–needed basis, in our programs
for youth in Venice and at our Art Partners locations in Los Angeles, as
well as in our Social Arts Initiative documentary projects.

*Qualifications: *

Must be a photographer or filmmaker with experience teaching youth.
Background in documentary work, digital storytelling, and multi–media
preferred. Must be available during standard after–school hours and/or on
weekends and interested in a long–term affiliation with Venice Arts.

*How to Apply:*

Please fill out a Contract Faculty application and email it along with your
résumé and a cover letter highlighting relevant experience ("Contract
Faculty" in the subject line), to jobs@venice-arts.org. Please, no phone
enquiries or walk–ins. We are sorry, but because we receive significant
interest in open positions, we are not able to respond to every applicant's
