LAGL includes an exhibition, performance series, artist publication and extensive public programming that explores the history of experimental performance art in Southern California in the 1970s and early 80s. LAGL is part of Pacific Standard time: Art in LA 1945-1980, an initiative by the Getty Foundation that includes fifty arts and cultural institutions throughout Southern California.
