Los Angeles art-collective Rogue Artists Ensemble is seeking a TECHNICAL
DIRECTOR, VIDEO DESIGNER and ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER to take part
in developing the world premier of HYPERBOLE: origins at [Inside] the
Ford, opening October 30th.

The award-winning Rogue Artists Ensemble creates a celebratory
theatrical event that examines ancient and modern stories of origin. In
this world premiere Hyper-theatrical show, myths and science collide
with masks, puppets, music and cutting-edge technology to create an
exhilarating experience. SEE! the amazing Origin Machine© and
experience the fantastic Origin-torium©! Witness a performance
drawing from myth, science, humanity, and faith and set to an eclectic
soundtrack from around the world, including contributions from Oh No
Ono, Deerhoof, The Very Best, and The Ditty Bops. It's the birth of the
universe, live on stage.

Technical Director:

Responsible for organizing and building scenic elements in production.

Works closely with project directors, designers and stage manager to aid
in the creation of the project.

Experience with technology driven performances, construction techniques
and knowledge of alternative art forms is desirable.

Must have car and flexible schedule.

Video Designer:

Excels in working in a highly collaborative approach to creating new
works

Has experience incorporating live video feeds into a production

Is fluent in the computer software QLab

Has experience in collage-based media creation/ work

Has explored stop motion or object based animation or other stylized
animation styles

Assistant Production Manager:

Work closely with Rogue Managing Director to monitor and manage the
production process.

Assist as liaison to venue.

Must have a thorough knowledge of technical theater.

All material costs will be paid for and a small stipend is offered.
However, the real reward will be creating a truly astonishing piece of
theater.
