National Storytelling Conference - Woodland Hills (Los Angeles Area / late July/early August)

Many Stories: One World is the theme for the National Storytelling
Conference to be held at the Warner Center Marriott Woodland Hills, Ca. Wed. July
28 through Sunday, August 1, 2010. The Conference has over 100 workshops,
performances, lectures, fringe concerts and story slams. It offers a chance to
mingle with the leading movers and shakers in the storytelling world --
people like Willy Claflin, Antonio Rocha, Diane Ferlatte and Nancy Donoval. Over
500 participants are expected to attend.

Conference is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased for the entire
Conference package or for single events, starting at $10. Conference will
appeal to anyone who has an interest in storytelling such as parents,
librarians, teachers, literacy tutors, actors, writers, producers, directors,
speakers, civic leaders, business leaders, and the list goes on.
