Part-time position - anticipated future full-time

The Director is responsible for the administration of INCCA-NA, a non-profit
organization dedicated to developing knowledge about the conservation of
contemporary art through collaborations between artists, art professionals
and collectors, In collaboration with the Volunteer Board, the Director
provides leadership, vision and fundraising for the organization.

Qualifications
Recognized leader in the field of arts management, providing leadership,
vision, and strategic planning to the development of this emerging
organization

Strong communication skills and knowledge of contemporary art, with proven
success in non-profit administration and fundraising. Knowledge expected in
art conservation, issues pertinent to contemporary art and grant writing,
reporting and general accounting. Minimum two years experience in
non-profit management with successful program and staff supervision.
Advanced degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
Develop and promote INCCA-NA as a leader in the field of contemporary art
conservation through collaborations with artists, collectors, conservators,
art museum professionals, and educators. Develop and promote successful
communications and collaborations with related professional organizations.

Facilitate development of INCCA-NA website:

With Board and Program Committee, develop and implement INCCCA-NA programs

Research, develop and deliver grant proposals for INCCA-NA initiatives, and
oversee management and documentation of grant projects

Together with Board, raise operating and project funds. Maintain productive
relationships with funders

Develop annual operating and program budgets, and oversee fiscal management
and reporting

With Board officers plan and facilitate regular meetings of the Board and
act as key liaison to Board and Program Committee members

Key liaison to INCCA Directors, INCCA supporters, and INCCA programs

INCCA-NA is dedicated to developing knowledge through collaborations between
artists, art professionals and collectors that will ensure the preservation
of modern and contemporary art and provide educational programs for a wide
public audience in North America.

At the heart of this effort is the need for public forums on new forms of
collaboration and documentation. INCCA-NA's network of artists,
conservators, curators and collectors is committed to building knowledge and
serving as a nexus for educational programs, communications, and resources.
