WANTED!!! Women’s Shoes and Clothing to Star in a Play (Los Angeles)

Cleaning out your closets? The Lone Star Ensemble will take your items to use as stage dressing for its upcoming production of BAD DATES by Theresa Rebeck, April 15-May 23, at The Lounge Theatre in Hollywood. At the end of the run, all of your donated items will be given to Dress For Success, the nonprofit organization that Lone Star Ensemble is sponsoring via the play: http://dressforsuccess.org. Dress For Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools.

THE SET is the bedroom/closet of a shoe obsessed single mom in her 30s who runs a restaurant in New York City. Think struggling SEX IN THE CITY.

NEEDED AS PROPS:

SHOES: Work and party. Any size. (Sorry, no sneakers or slippers.)

CLOTHING: Skirts, blouses, dresses, pants, sweaters. Any size.

ACCESSORIES: Purses, hats, belts.

SHOE BOXES: All kinds and sizes, especially those with designer labels.

You don't have to decide what might be right. Give us everything and we'll go through it. Just put it in a bag and we'll come get it.

ALSO WANTED AS COSTUME:

Three special designer shoes, size 7-8 for star Samara Frame (ideally, size 7 1/2) to wear as costume pieces.

Chanel pumps

Jimmy Choo stiletto heels

Thigh-high boots (any designer)
