Rogue Artists Ensemble, a collective
of multi-disciplinary artists who create Hyper-theater, an innovative
hybrid of theater, puppetry, masks, dance, music and modern technology,
seeks contributions of original music and art to be incorporated into a
new performance event titled HYPERBOLE: origins, scheduled to premiere
in Los Angeles in September, 2010. Music and media will a featured
element of the show and will be heard and seen by thousands throughout
Southern California.

HYPERBOLE: origins is an original, adventurous celebration of myth,
music, movement, and mania, all inspired by stories of creation.
Resembling a collection of music videos performed live onstage,
HYPERBOLE: origins will play out as a torrent of short scenes set to and
inspired by music and visual art collected from contemporary musicians
and artists.

HYPERBOLE:origins is being developed in part through a collaboration
with the University of California Claire Trevor School of the Arts and
is funded in part by a grant from the Los Angeles Department of Cultural
Affairs. Workshop performances are being scheduled at UC Irvine and
during the first annual Hollywood Fringe Festival.
