Video contest invites works on civil society

Students and members of civil society aged between 18 and 30 from the 56 member countries of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are encouraged to submit videos to a competition organized to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain. Deadline: October 2.

Videos should reflect civil society initiatives in OSCE countries, which can include political, social and educational initiatives by non-governmental organizations or other groups and private citizens. Submissions, which can include slideshows with audio in addition to video, should be no longer than three minutes. They must be in English or have English subtitles.

Winners will receive a trip to Vienna for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall at the OSCE from November 5 to 6.

Participants are encouraged to submit their videos via YouTube (account required).
