Eco-LA looking for "green" element artists/craftspeople

Hello, please see below for info about a series of eco-events being launched at Eco-LA. We are looking for artists/vendors who work with recycled elements or materials. As this is a start-up process we are offering vendor space at cost $25.00 for 5 x 10 foot area. If your work features any kind of live "performance" element the fee will be waived. LOS ANGELES—Peter Schulberg, director of the nonprofit Eco-LogicalART Gallery (www.eco-la.org)is pleased to announce that "Second Saturday at Eco-LA" will be premiere May 9th at 11:00 AM. The public event features a dramatic noon curtain drop to reveal a stunning 14' by 48-foot art piece painted on a recycled billboard. Installed directly over the Eco-LA Gallery, the work will be seen 35,000 times in
the first day, and over 1 million times by month's end. The May launch of the Second Saturday events kicks off a yearlong exhibition of original art painted on recycled billboards. In addition to the gallery installation billboard art pieces will also go up across Los
Angeles. Once on exhibit, more every-day Angelinos will view the art in the first hour than attend all of L.A.'s major museums in a month.

"Second Saturday" events will also feature a gallery show of smaller art painted on vinyl, "live" billboard art painting, kids eco-art workshops, tree give-always,eco vendors, bio-diesel demos, bike club sign-ups, and more.
