What you need
Every artist could use some help in finding what they need, such as collaborators, venues, places to sleep, sources of information, tour personnel, and many other resources. Artists locally and worldwide need better ways to connect with both people and information. It can be difficult, costly and time-consuming to find these in your own city, let alone in other cities in the world where you might work.

Who we are
AMP, the Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective, is a worldwide collective of artists networking together to build and support local and international artists, create new art communities, and enhance those that already exist. AMP currently has over 3000 members in 74 countries worldwide. A uniquely democratic approach to networking, AMP's members include practitioners of all kinds of arts, at every level from hobbyists to career professionals. AMP welcomes all artists, and those who work in any kind of art field - at any level, in every corner of the world. The idea is that everyone has something to offer, with a diverse international community of creatives making a powerful blend of resources. We are a fiscally sponsored project of the Epic Arts Foundation Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

What we do
Through AMP, connect with artists, arts communities, and arts resources of all kinds, anywhere in the world, as well as posting your art, music, and performances on the website. Members connect with each other through AMP's website, as well as meeting at AMP's parties and multimedia art events. AMP's plans for expansion include the creation of a network of AMP centers that span the globe and connect artists with the resources, opportunities, and personal connections they need.
